This guide is designed to help non-technical users—such as campaign managers, charity admins, and fundraising teams—create and manage fundraising campaigns using the LevCharity Plugin in WordPress.
Getting Started #
Once the plugin is installed and activated, you’ll see a new menu item called Campaigns in your WordPress dashboard.
To create a new campaign:
- Go to Campaigns > Add New
- Choose the Campaign type (not Team or P2P)
- Fill out the fields as guided below
- Click Publish when you’re ready to go live
Campaign Details #
Field | What It Does |
Campaign Friendly Title | A readable title shown to donors (e.g., “Save the Forests”) |
Admin Title | Internal title for your team only (e.g., “Q3 Campaign 2025”) |
Campaign Subtitle | A short one-liner to draw interest |

Media & Visuals #
Use strong visuals to make your campaign more compelling.

Video URL | Link to a campaign video (YouTube supported) |

Donation Settings #
Field | Description |
Fundraising Goal | Total amount you aim to raise |
Mark Goal as Unlimited | Disables the progress bar/goal total |
Campaign Start/End | Controls visibility and countdown |
Never-ending Campaign | Leave end date blank or mark as unlimited |
Donation Frequency | Choose: One-time, Monthly, or Installments |
Enable Installments | Allows donors to split into monthly payments |
Checkout & Messages #
Field | Description |
Disable Summit Receipts | Optional toggle for receipt integration |
Show Checkout Instruction | Show custom notes above payment section |
Payment Description | Text shown during donation checkout |
Checkout Message/Header | Thank you message shown post-donation |
Updates Bar | Banner for urgent messages (e.g., “We’re 80% funded!”) |
Predefined Donation Amounts #

Show/Hide Options #
Toggles to control what donors see on the campaign page or during checkout.
- Hide credit card fee note
- Hide sticky footer bar
- Hide goal & progress bar
- Hide “About the Campaign” section
- Hide donor list, names, or amounts
- Hide top donors / leaderboard
- Hide number of donors
You’ll find these under the Show/Hide or Additional Settings panel.
Matching Campaign Options (Optional) #
Only visible if the Matching Campaigns module is active.

Final Steps #
Once your campaign is set up:
- Preview it to make sure all visuals and text look correct
- Test a donation if possible
- Click Publish to go live!
You can edit, pause, or mark a campaign as complete at any time.
