Sponsorships Guide (Admin) #
This guide walks administrators through how to create and manage sponsorship products using the LevCharity Sponsorships Plugin.
What Are Sponsorships? #
Sponsorships are donation-based items that can be featured in:
- Standard donation forms
- Fundraising campaigns
- Team campaigns
They allow donors to fund specific items (e.g., medical kits, equipment, or training) as part of their contribution.
How to Create a Sponsorship Item #
Step 1: Navigate to the Sponsorships Section #
- In the WordPress dashboard, go to Fundraise > Sponsorships.
- Click Add New to begin creating a sponsorship item.
Fields for Admins #
When adding a sponsorship product, the following fields will be available:
Title #
The name of the sponsorship item (e.g., “Resuscitation Kit”).
Description #
A rich text editor field used to describe the sponsored item. This content appears in the main body of the page and can include formatting, images, and links if needed.
Multi-Currency Donation Amounts #
For each currency your site supports, the admin must define:
- Label – Displays the currency and symbol (e.g., “USD $”).
- Amount – Enter the donation amount for that specific currency.
This ensures pricing is displayed correctly to donors based on their selected currency.
Equipment Image #
This is a required image field that serves as the Featured Image for the sponsorship product. It appears wherever the item is displayed, including donation forms and campaign pages.
