User Guide: Settings – About Section

1 min read

The About section in the LevCharity plugin allows administrators to define organizational branding and core content. This area is used to customize the frontend experience with identity-driven visuals, descriptive text, and a consistent color scheme.

1. Organization Info #

This is a WYSIWYG field that allows you to provide a brief summary or mission statement about your organization. This content is commonly displayed in modals or on campaign pages.

  • Type: Visual Text Area (WYSIWYG)
  • Purpose: Communicate your mission or identity to donors, participants, or the public

2. Organization Logo #

Upload your main logo here. It will be used throughout the platform where brand recognition is required, including headers, campaign cards, and emails.

  • Type: Image Upload
  • Recommendation: Use a logo optimized for both desktop and mobile displays (e.g., SVG or high-resolution PNG)

3. Video URL #

You can embed a promotional or informational video from YouTube or Vimeo to introduce your organization or highlight your work.

  • Type: Text Field (URL)
  • Format: Use an embed link, e.g., https://www.youtube.com/embed/xyz

4. Short Description #

A short text block used as a quick summary of your organization. It may appear in compact layouts like sidebars or campaign listings.

  • Type: Visual Text (WYSIWYG)
  • Best Practice: Keep it concise and compelling

5. Long Description #

This field allows for a more detailed overview of your organization’s mission, values, programs, or history.

  • Type: Visual Text (WYSIWYG)
  • Use Case: Great for “About Us” sections or custom donation pages

6. Campaigns Default Images #

This group of image upload fields allows you to set fallback images for various campaign types and display formats. These are used whenever a specific campaign does not have custom media assigned.
